Funeral services to celebrate the life of Lorraine E. McElroy, 93, a resident of Davenport, will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, at Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home, 614 Main St., downtown Davenport. Burial will take place in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Davenport. Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Lorraine died Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at Senior Star, Davenport.

Memorials may be made to Assumption High School.

Mrs. McElroy is survived by her daughters, Marsha McElroy Paxton, Davenport, Peg (John) McElroy Fraser, Iowa City, and Cathy (Dean) Maupin and Julia Russell, both of Davenport; grandchildren, Victoria “Tori” Smeaton, Davenport, Kimberly (Ahsan) Koupal Hamid, Chicago, Elizabeth (Michael) Maupin Belsky, Rock Island, Kristen (Lt. John) Rose, San Diego, Calif., and Karli Koupal (fiance Nat Graves), Chicago; great-grandchildren, Kendall and Connor Smeaton, Kennedy Rose and Ella Belsky, a niece, Patricia (Louis) Dichiacchio, Maryland; and her family bridge partners, Jeanne Watson and Dorothy “Dottie” Tucker.
