Carter, Mary Alice
Mary Alice Carter, 90, of West Des Moines, formerly of North English, died Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013, in Waukee following a short illness. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, at Powell Funeral Home in North English. Visitation will be from noon until service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in North English Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for the North English Library or Dollars for Scholars.
