Diane A. Clark, 70, of Coralville, passed away peacefully Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015, at her home surrounded by family. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Iowa City, with Father Jeff Belger officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Iowa City Hospice.
Diane was born March 28, 1945, in Omaha, Neb., the daughter of Herbert and Ethel Copple Johnson. She married John Clark on June 20, 1964, in Salix, Iowa. She graduated from the University of Iowa with a bachelor's degree in psychology. Diane retired from NCS (now Pearson) in 2009. John passed away March 27, 2015.
She enjoyed gardening, reading, cheering on the Iowa Hawkeye football team, and mostly importantly loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children, Stacia (Randy) Thompson of Sioux City, Joseph (Linda) Clark of Atkins and Jennifer Clark of Iowa City; grandchildren, Calvin, Madeline, Ethan, Libby and James; brother, Terry (Rose) Johnson of Sloan, Iowa; and sister, Colleen (Ken) Johnson of Sioux City.
Diane was preceded by her parents and her husband.
