Frazier, Cheryl K. (Sheridan)
Cheryl K. (Sheridan) Frazier, 46, of Marion, passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2010, at her home with her family by her side after a long battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Antioch Christian Church, Marion. Pastor John Seitz will officiate with burial in Davenport Memorial Park, Davenport. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Survivors include her husband Maurice of Marion; children, Isaac, Elijah, and Olivia Frazier; parents Jerome and Joan Sheridan of Bettendorf; sisters, Cyndi Sheridan of Davenport, and Connie (Carlos) Padilla of California; mother-in-law Susie McLaughlin of Davenport; father-in-law Marshall Frazier of Blytheville, Ark.; sister-in-law LaDanna Ross (Marvin) of Davenport; brothers-in-law Marshall (Korie) Frazier of Waterloo, Renard Rogers of Davenport, Reginald Frazier of Virginia, and Derrick McLaughlin of Davenport; and several nieces and nephews.
Cheryl was born Feb. 25, 1964, in Davenport, the daughter of Jerome and Joan (Kakert) Sheridan. She married Maurice Frazier on July 17, 1993, at the Progressive Baptist Church, Davenport. She most recently worked for the Marion YMCA as the Membership Services Coordinator. Previous to the YMCA she worked for Sam Goody Records as store manager and for Younkers in fashion merchandising, both in Davenport. Cheryl was a member of the Antioch Christian Church, Marion. She enjoyed all forms of art, collecting Elvis memorabilia, running, and most of all spending time with her family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Frazier family.
