Clark, Retired SSgt. Roger K.
Retired SSgt. Roger K. Clark, 73, of Wyoming, Iowa, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Service of Remembrance will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, at Lahey Funeral Home in Oxford Junction, where friends may call on Sunday from 11 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in Mayflower Cemetery, Oxford Junction, with military honors by Lost Nation American Legion Menzo Widle Post 381.
Roger K. Clark was born June 27, 1939, in Iowa City, Iowa, to Orphesus and Elizabeth (Dague) Clark. He served in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a welder. He was a member of Lost Nation American Legion Menzo Widle Post 381.
Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Clark of Wyoming; nine children, Greg Harris, Teresa Donaldson, Maria Dunkel, Roger Clark Jr., Sue Clark, Tracey Medinger, Calvin Clark, Stuart Clark and Albert Clark; four stepchildren, Angela Grove, Dominic Lehay, Kaleen Nordgulen and James Swank; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister, Ann (Ted) Miller of Maquoketa; and nieces and nephews.
Memorials are preferred.
