MANCHESTER - The North Cedar girls' cross country team placed ninth and the boys' team was 20th at the West Delaware Invitational earlier this month.
Junior Tessa Fields led the girls' team, placing eighth out of 119 finishers in a personal-best 20 minutes, 9 seconds.
State qualifying meets at Thursday across the state.
