The Bobcats are led in scoring by junior guard T.J. Lake, who averages 17.6 points per game. He had 38 in a district final win over Dubuque Wahlert. Vinton-Shellsburg won the Western Division despite having just nine players on its roster. Three Vikings average double figures in scoring, led by forward Grant Sagan (18.7).
