CEDAR RAPIDS - Cedar Rapids Kennedy may have had the most popular football team in the state last night.
Not only were regular Cougars fans pulling for their boys, so were teams and fans of a bunch of other schools. With all that support, how could they lose?
They didn't, getting big games from the H&H Boys to smack Dubuque Wahlert, 36-14, in the regular-season finale at Kingston Stadium.
