Reported prep basketball scores and summaries for games involving Cedar Rapids and Iowa City metro teams Tuesday night.
GIRLS
4A No. 7 Marion 65, Clear Creek Amana 28
Mia Laube and Sophie Willette scored 13 apiece as No. 7 Marion clinched a share of the Wamac West Conference title with Center Point-Urbana after a 65-28 win over Clear Creek Amana in Marion.
Chloe Rice and Caitlyn Smith each chipped in nine points for Marion.
5A No. 3 Iowa City High 55, 5A No. 4 Cedar Falls 54
No. 3 Iowa City High won on the road at No. 4 Cedar Falls. Courtney Joens led all scorers with 22 points and made four 3-pointers for the Little Hawks.
Ashley Joens chipped in 13 points.
Emma Gerdes paced Cedar Falls with 16 points.
5A No. 15 Cedar Rapids Washington 60, Cedar Rapids Prairie 52
Vanessa Eniola hit three from deep to score 15 for 15th-ranked Washington at Prairie. Anne Visser scored 13 and Jayla Johnson added 10.
The Warriors led at the half, 27-21. Washington dominated from deep, making eight to Prairie's three.
Olivia Usher scored a game-high 18 points for Prairie, while grabbing eight boards. Jenna Wagemester added 15 points and Sarah Schmitt led the team in steals (4) and assists (3).
5A No. 12 Iowa City West 69, Dubuque Wahlert 48
Logan Cook scored 20 points and Rachael Saunders added 12 points as the 12th-ranked Women of Troy won in Dubuque.
Saunders and Cook each had two 3-pointers for West.
Charlotte Flynn scored 18 points for Dubuque Wahlert.
2A No. 2 Iowa City Regina 61, Tipton 39
No. 2 Regina finished the regular season undefeated for the first time in school history, winning Tuesday night in Tipton.
Mary Crompton had a career-high 23 points, Cammy Verducci added 12 points, and Lauren Gaarde chipped in nine points for Regina (21-0, 18-0 River Valley).
BOYS
4A No. 2 Iowa City West 58, 3A No. 2 Dubuque Wahlert 46
The No. 2 team in Class 4A topped the No. 2 team in 3A in Iowa City. Connor McCaffery led all scorers with 23 points for West (15-3, 12-1 MVC).
Wali Parks added 12 points and eight rebounds. Devontae Lane chipped in 10 points.
Cordell Pemsl scored 21 points to pace Dubuque Wahlert.'
Cedar Rapids Prairie 78, Cedar Rapids Washington 65
Max Smith-Drahos scored 25 points and Jalen Rima added 22 points as the Prairie Hawks (7-11, 5-8) picked up the win at home.
Cal Clark chipped in 14 points for Prairie.
Hunter Strait led the Warriors with 22 points and three 3-pointers.
Cedar Falls 65, Iowa City High 55
Trey LeBeaux scored a game-high 15 points and the Tigers (13-4, 8-4 MVC) dominated the first half by building a 40-23 lead going into the break.
City High (10-8, 7-6) came alive in the fourth quarter but could not overcome the deficit. Henry Mulligan scored 14 and pulled down six rebounds and Naeem Smith added 13 points.
Marion 43, Clear Creek Amana 41
The Indians connected on eight treys, including five from Chase Zielke.
Zielke finished with 19 points, and made 7-of-7 free throws to overcome a 21-16 halftime deficit and allowed Marion (9-10, 7-6 Wamac East) to pick up the win in Tiffin. Jacob Manderscheid added nine points.
CCA (10-8, 9-5) was led by Kahler Green with 14 points.
