Martens, William Theodore
William Theodore Martens, infant son of Jen and Ted Martens of Des Moines, was born sleeping on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.
William will be lovingly remembered by his parents; sister, Hannah Elizabeth Martens; maternal grandparents, Elmer and Dorothy Feldmann of Hopkinton; paternal grandparent, Elaine Lee of Cedar Rapids; and aunts and uncles, Steve Feldmann of Des Moines, Roger and Ann Feldmann of Omaha, Neb., Deb and Dave Marchesani of Cedar Falls and Liz and Luke Maloney of Cedar Rapids.
William's family would like to give thanks for the support and love from their family, friends and community throughout this journey.
A private service for William was held Thursday, Oct. 24.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family for a memorial to be directed later in care of Westover Chapel, 6337 Hickman Rd., Des Moines, IA 50322.
