He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jo Bills; an uncle, Earl Bills; and his father-in-law, William Ficken.
William David Bills was born June 12, 1964, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of William Frank Bills and Mary Jo Becker Bills. In 1972, William's father, uncle and grandfather started a family business, Bills' Brothers Furniture.
