Lou Ann March, 60, of Masonville, formerly of Stanley, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017, at her sister's home in Masonville.
She was born Feb. 9, 1957, in Manchester, the daughter of Lewis and Doris (Doyle) Duggan. She was raised in Masonville and graduated from West Delaware High School in 1975. She lived in Masonville until 1988, when she moved to Lamont.
On May 14, 1988, Lou Ann was united in marriage to Randy March at Grace United Methodist Church in Lamont. In 1998, the couple moved to Stanley. Lou Ann worked 30 years for Henderson Manufacturing in Manchester, seven years with the U.S. Postal Service, two years at the Independence Area Food Pantry and 12 years at R Place in Masonville.
Lou Ann loved her family and friends above all else. She enjoyed Kiss concerts, family vacations, Daniel O'Donnell shows and her cat, Furby.
Lou Ann is survived by her husband, Randy March of Stanley; three stepchildren, Malissa (Joe) Goney of Marion, Ohio, Marci (Nick) Neal of Strawberry Point and Matt (Kristi) March of Springville; a niece, who was like a daughter, Brandi (Dave Gericke) Mesch of Ryan; her sisters, Barb (Chuck) Rettinger of Masonville and Sharon Netcott of Peoria, Ariz.,; R Place sister, Bev Burke of Walker; 10 grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Randi and Alix Goney, Levi (McKenzie) Farmer, Emery Farmer, Breeze and Chance Neal and Zach, Hannah and Jace March; one great-granddaughter, Brenneke Farmer; her mother-in-law, Margaret March of Stanley; four sisters- and brothers-in-law, Marsha (Steve) Fleming of Lamont, Mark (Maggie) March of Murphy, N.C., Gloria (Brian) Knoke of Atwater, Minn., and Joni (Kurt) Hershey of Hazelton; and many nieces and nephews.
Lou Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Doris Duggan; her brothers, Tom, Bill and Bob Duggan; a sister, Joan Sellers; brothers-in-law, Whitey Sellers and Paul Netcott; a nephew, Nick Mesch; her father-in-law, Ronald March; and her grandchildren, Katarina Farmer and Kinnick Neal.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Masonville, with the Rev. Joseph Schneider officiating. Visitation: 2 to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 6, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester, with a 7 p.m. Scripture service. Friends also may call from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home in Manchester. Interment: St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Masonville.
