NYLEENE KNAPP Marion Nyleene M. Knapp, 86, of Lake Mills, died Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at Lake Mills Care Center. Nyleene's wishes were to be cremated. Her family will have a memorial service at a later date. Nyleene M. (Bebee) Knapp was born Oct. 2, 1928, in Robins, Iowa, the daughter of Nelson W. and Pearl I. (Hoover) Bebee. She graduated from Marion High School, attended University of Northern Iowa and received her nursing degree from NIACC. On Nov. 12, 1950, she was united in marriage with Perry Knapp in Robins. The couple was blessed with four children. The family made their home in Marion, where Perry was a supervisor for a 2,700-acre dairy farm until a disastrous fire in 1964. The family then moved to Manly for the next 10 years where Perry managed a dairy farm. Finally, they came to Lake Mills in 1974 where the couple were longtime administrators for the Winnebago County Home. Nyleene is survived by her sons, Kevin (Cindy) of Bumpass, Va., Dr. Kieren (Jane) of Seven Valleys, Pa., Kurt (Karen) of Forest City and Kehan (Heather) of Spring Valley, Minn.; five grandchildren; a brother, Dale Bebee of Lee's Summit, Mo.; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Perry; and three brothers, Raymond, Robert and Melvin Bebee. You may contact the family with online condolences at www.mittelstadtfuneral home.com.
