Kernels conducting Mr. Shucks, Strike Force tryouts Saturday

Open auditions for mascot Mr. Shucks and the Strike Force will be conducted Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
The Cedar Rapids Kernels say Mr. Shucks' hopefuls must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license. Dance experience is a plus, bot not required.
Strike Force hopefuls must be at least 16, "have a great personality and ready to have a blast supporting the Cedar Rapids Kernels." Both positions are paid and open to men and women.
