BELOIT, Wis. — The Beloit Snappers scored six times in the third inning and went on to pop the Cedar Rapids Kernels, 7-1, Thursday night at Pohlman Field.
The Kernels (30-23) actually outhit Beloit in the game, 9-8, but scored just an unearned run in the sixth. LaMonte Wade singled leading off, went to second on an outfield error, to third on a groundout and scored on a J.J. Fernandez sacrifice fly.
