Soper, Daniel J.

Daniel J. Soper, 26, of Olin, died Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009, as a result of an automobile accident near Morley. A celebration of his life will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Olin United Methodist Church, with Pastor Pat Slater officiating.

Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lahey Funeral Home in Olin.

Daniel Justin Soper was born March 9, 1983, in Anamosa, Iowa, to Steve and Nancy (Remington) Soper. He graduated from Olin High School in 2001. He worked for Soper Concrete & Construction.

Danny was a loving son, brother, and father. He loved spending time with his son and was a great dad. Danny had a big heart and helped many of his friends and family. He was a special help to his grandparents. His favorite thing to do was to sit by the campfire on the sandbar. He loved the outdoors and loved to camp. His favorite place was his grandparent's farm.

He is survived by one son, Kolby Justin Soper; his parents, Steven and Nancy Soper; one sister, Heather (Kevin Skinner) Soper; and his grandparents, Joe and Carm Soper and Delbert and Regina Remington, all of Olin.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents.

Memorials are preferred.
