Cedar Rapids Kernels get Midwest League opener postponed at Beloit

BELOIT, Wis. — The Cedar Rapids Kernels had their 2017 Midwest League season opener against the Beloit Snappers postponed Thursday night at Pohlman Field because of wet conditions.
The teams will play a double-header instead Friday at 4:30 p.m. The pair of games will be seven innings each.
Cedar Rapids' home opener is Saturday at 5:05 p.m.
