Police continue to investigate 'suspicious death' in Marion

MARION -- Police said Saturday they're still unsure how Greg Morris, 60, of Marion died.
Morris' body was discovered Friday afternoon inside his apartment at 825 26th Street in Marion. An autopsy was to be conducted Saturday at the State Medical Examiners office in Ankeny. Phone calls to the office went unanswered Saturday.
"It's a really quiet neighborhood, there's lots of kids who live in the neighborhood," said Will Trentz, who lives down the street from the apartments where Morris' body was found.
Neighbors who lived inside the same building as Morris said at least eight people were taken to the police station for interviews on Friday afternoon.
Marion Police said there is no threat to public safety at this time.
