The families of Meaghan Kathleen Smelser & Aaron Stewart Kandt are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their children.
Meaghan is the daughter of Virginia Smelser & the late Neal Smelser of Hiawatha. Aaron is the son of Dwight & Nancy Kandt of Cedar Rapids.
Meaghan graduated from Iowa State University with a B.S. in Hotel, Restaurant, & Institution Management. She is currently employed by the Glen Oaks Country Club in West Des Moines. Aaron will graduate from Iowa State University in May with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He is employed by Quality Manufacturing Corporation in Urbandale.
The couple will exchange vows on June 4, 2011 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Marion.
