Former Washington star Arrington has big NFL debut (WITH VIDEO)

Former Cedar Rapids Washington standout Adrian Arrington made his National Football League debut Sunday for the New Orleans Saints, catching seven passes for 79 yards in his team's 23-13 loss to Tampa Bay.
Arrington, who played college football at Michigan, was a seventh-round draft pick of the Saints in 2008 and mostly has been on the Saints' practice squad for three years. He was finally activated for a game Sunday because of several injuries to New Orleans receivers.
Saints Coach Sean Payton told local media last week that Arrington has had opportunities to leave the Saints, most recently to sign with the St. Louis Rams and Minnesota Vikings, but chose to remain with New Orleans.
