2018 Iowa high school wrestling State Duals pairings

Wrestling fanatics will spend their Valentine’s Day at Wells Fargo Arena this year. The State Duals tournament is Wednesday, Feb. 14 in Des Moines.

Class 1A and Class 2A teams qualified Tuesday with regional dual victories, Class 3A teams did the same Wednesday.

Here’s a look at the pairings and schedule, in bracket order.

Class 1A

Quarterfinals — 9 a.m.

No. 1 Don Bosco vs. No. 8 West Sioux

No. 4 Missouri Valley vs. No. 5 Lake Mills

No. 2 Lisbon vs. No. 7 Woodbury Central

No. 3 Denver vs. No. 6 Interstate 35

Consolation semifinals — 11 a.m.

Semifinals — 1 p.m.

7th, 5th place — 4:30 p.m.

Championship, 3rd place — 6:30 p.m.

Class 2A

Quarterfinals — 11 a.m.

No. 1 New Hampton/Turkey Valley vs. No. 8 Webster City

No. 4 West Delaware vs. No. 5 Davenport Assumption

No. 2 Clarion CGD vs. No. 7 Solon

No. 3 Ballard vs. No. 6 Williamsburg

Consolation semifinals — 1 p.m.

Semifinals — 1 p.m.

7th, 5th place — 4:30 p.m.

Championship, 3rd place — 6:30 p.m.

Class 3A

Quarterfinals — 9 a.m.

No. 1 Fort Dodge vs. No. 8 Dubuque Hempstead

No. 4 Southeast Polk vs. No. 5 Johnston

No. 2 West Des Moines Valley vs. No. 7 North Scott
