Iowa high school girls' basketball 2018 regional pairings: 3A, 2A, 1A

The road to Wells Fargo Arena is set for Iowa high school girls’ basketball teams in Classes 3A, 2A and 1A.

The IGHSAU released regional pairings Thursday for the smaller three classes. Regional winners advance to the state tournament in Des Moines, which runs Feb. 26-March 3.

Regional play tips off with first-round games in Class 1A on Thursday, Feb. 8, and 2A on Saturday, Feb. 10. Some teams have byes to the quarterfinals on Tuesday, Feb. 13 in both classes. All 3A teams play in the quarterfinals on Saturday, Feb. 10.

Class 3A regional finals are Saturday, Feb. 17. Regional finals in 1A and 2A are set for Monday, Feb. 19.

Regional pairings for Classes 4A and 5A will be released next Thursday.
