Iowa football added its second Class of 2018 defensive recruit of the day when Belleville, Mich., defensive back Kaevon Merriweather tweeted his commitment Friday night.

South Hamilton linebacker Logan Klemp announced his decision earlier Friday.

Merriweather is listed as a 6-foot-2, 195-pound safety by Rivals.com, which has not assigned him a star rating. Iowa is his first listed offer.
