A prime-time game, a 9-0 team that's in the top four of the College Football Playoff rankings, a coach who draws more national attention than anyone else in the sport, college or pro.
And Iowa's involved, too.
Fun Facts, ladies and gentlemen, for Michigan-Iowa.
1. Michigan has defeated Iowa 41 times. Iowa has beaten Michigan 14 times. That 41-14 difference also happens to have been the score of the Hawkeyes' loss at Penn State last Saturday.
2. Iowa has won three straight home night games and has won three straight home games against Michigan.
3. The Hawkeyes' last home win over a ranked team was in 2011 against No. 13 Michigan.
4. The last time the Hawkeyes played a 9-0 team in Kinnick Stadium, they beat Penn State in 2008.
5. This is Michigan's first road game against a team that has won a Big Ten game. Its first two were at Rutgers and Michigan State.
6. Michigan has won its last seven Big Ten road games.
7. Iowa and Nevada are tied with the fewest lost fumbles this season, with one in nine games. Former Iowa assistant coach Lester Erb is in his fourth season on Nevada's coaching staff.
8. Michigan is 11th nationally in time of possession. Iowa is 124th.
9. Michigan is 1st nationally in total defense, Iowa is 118th in total offense.
10. Iowa quarterback C.J. Beathard won his first 13 career starts. Michigan freshman QB Wilton Speight is 9-0 as a starter.
11. Before this week, Iowa hadn't been a 20-point-or-more underdog since 1999. The Hawkeyes were underdogs by 20 or more points on six occasions that season, Kirk Ferentz's first as Iowa's coach. They covered the spread in two of those games, won none.
12. The San Francisco 49ers were 44-19-1 when Jim Harbaugh was their coach. Since he left after the 2014 season, they are 6-18.
13. Defensive end Taco Charlton leads Michigan in sacks with 4.5. His given name is Vidaunte Sayyon Tamar Charlton. He got the nickname 'Taco' as a young child. He said he refused to like tacos as a youngster, but 'Now, I love tacos all the time, whether it's Taco Bell or I go make my own tacos or whatever.' His Twitter handle is @TheSupremeTaco.
14. Michigan's top receiver, Amara Darboh, is from Iowa. Iowa's top defensive back, Desmond King, is from Michigan.
15. Kirk Herbstreit will do color commentary on ABC's telecast of this game. He played quarterback for Ohio State from 1989 to 1992. He had five career touchdown passes in 349 pass attempts. Current Buckeye quarterback J.T. Barrett had six TD passes in Ohio State's first game of this season.
16. Jack Harbaugh, Jim Harbaugh's father, was an Iowa assistant coach from 1971-73 under Frank Lauterbur. Iowa went 4-28-1 in that time.
17. The Grateful Dead performed at the University of Iowa Field House in 1971 and 1973, and the Allman Brothers played there in 1972 and 1973.
18. UI students unofficially renamed the venue the Duane Allman Field House at the time.
