Board of Regents made a good move

To the editor:
There has been much rhetoric about the Board of Regents choosing a businessman to lead the University of Iowa. Having been in both business and education, I feel that the Board of Regents made a good move.
It is as important to know how to build a bridge across The Spoon River as it is to know what Edgar Lee Masters was thinking about when in 1915 he wrote 'The Spoon River Anthology.”
I would like to thank that in the near future we will look back to the University of Iowa and the Board of Regents as having had the courage to make the decision they made.
We are fortunate to have a good university and I would like to see everyone get behind it to make it great.
