Two men with gunshot wounds found near Wal-Mart on SW side of Cedar Rapids
Cedar Rapids police responded to a shots fired call around 8 p.m. tonight near a Wal-Mart on the SW side of Cedar Rapids at 29th Ave. SW and Edgewood Road SW.
Two men were found with gunshot wounds.
CRPD confirmed that both men were transported by emergency personnel to a hospital, but had no update on either of their conditions at this time.
Photos from the scene posted on social media by KCRG TV-9 show a car crashed into a guard rail in the Wal-Mart parking lot.
The police said that there is currently no threat to the public regarding this incident, and that it remains under investigation.
