North Liberty closes pools because of electrical issue
NORTH LIBERTY - An electrical issue has resulted in the closing of the outdoor and indoor pools in North Liberty.
The pools at the North Liberty Aquatic Center, located at 520 W. Cherry St., are to remain closed until the problem can be fixed, city officials announced in a news release. They said the electrical issue may have been caused by lightning, and they do not yet have an idea of how long it may take to solve the problem.
