Rosetta B. Driver, 77, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2017, at Manor Care surrounded by her loving family. A visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 9, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 10, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories.
Rosetta was born Feb. 22, 1940, the daughter of Walter and Rosetta (McIntosh) Brown. She married Joe Driver and they shared many memories together until his passing in 2014. Hobbies included cooking, baking, collecting cookbooks and entertaining family on the holidays.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Maggie Lane; and brother, Dale Brown.
Rosetta was a loving mother, grandmother, wife and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Left to cherish Rosetta's memories are her children, Joe (Desiree) Driver, Jacqueline Driver, Kathy (Michael) Cole, Rosalyn Driver, Donald Driver and Ronald (LaTanya) Driver; a special nephew, Kenneth (Rolenda) Cooper; 16 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and special friends the Miller family.
A memorial fund has been established in Rosetta's honor.
