This week's On the Record discusses recent federal lawsuits filed against Waterloo and Dubuque police officers for use of excessive force and arrests without probable cause. Dave O'Brien, lawyer for the two women, is the guest on the podcast who talks about claims in the two Dubuque lawsuits.
The plaintiffs in the cases claims officers body slammed, shoved and tasered them without cause. O'Brien's two plaintiffs suffered serious and permanent injuries from the incidents including cuts, bruises and facial scarring.
