Iowa and UNI wrestlers hold top-five spots in coaches poll

The University of Iowa and University of Northern Iowa remain in the top five of the latest Amateur Wrestling News/National Wrestling Coaches Association/USA Today NCAA Division I Coaches Poll released Tuesday.
Iowa defeated Northwestern, 31-6, last Friday, holding its spot at third on the national list. The Hawkeyes improved to 12-2 overall and will host No. 11 Michigan (9-3) in their home finale Sunday at Carver-Hawkeye Arena, beginning at 2 p.m.
UNI has ascended to fifth in the rankings. The Panthers are one of three unbeaten teams on the list, posting a 9-0 dual mark. Fifth-ranked UNI hosts No. 17 Iowa State on Saturday at the West Gym, beginning at 5 p.m. The dual can be seen live on KCRG 9.2.

The Cyclones are 8-3, moving one spot to 17th this week.
