CEDAR RAPIDS — Mo Nasraddin, owner of The Keto Kitchen in downtown Iowa City, has won the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance’s Race for the Space contest to expand to downtown Cedar Rapids.
As the first-place winner, Nasraddin will receive a $20,000 credit toward architectural design services, build-out support and business education for a new build-out. He also will get first choice for one of five properties available for build-out downtown.
“This money will allow us to open our ground zero location in downtown Cedar Rapids,” Nasraddin said. “Using our meal prep services, we are excited for the ability to impact thousands of lives locally and nationally.”
