Area towns celebrate fun in the sun, fireworks in the skies

It’s easy to find day trips around Eastern Iowa with festivals all summer long. Some celebrate history, others entice visitors with food and drink. Here’s a guide to explosions of art in parks and streets, cultural and heritage festivals — and lots and lots of fireworks.
