Cedar Rapids Halloween Parade: When, where and everything else you need to know

Czech Village and NewBo will be teeming with spirit when things go bumping in the night down the main drags on Saturday. The Cedar Rapids Halloween Parade starts at Ninth Avenue and Third Street SE, turns the corner at 14th Avenue SE, then crosses the river - where the street magically becomes 16th Avenue SW - and ends at C Street SW. More than 10,000 people are expected to spectate or be the specters.

Parade hours: 6:30 to 8 p.m. Saturday (10/26).

' Trick-or-treating:

10 a.m. to noon in Czech Village.

' Family Fair:

3 to 5:30 p.m. at NewBo Market, with kids activities including carnival games and a family costume contest.

' Bar Crawl-O-Ween: 8 p.m. to 1 a.m., starting at Parlor City.
