Gazette correspondent Cole Bair is joined by Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier sportswriter Nick Petaros on this week’s episode of the On UNI Podcast. Cole and Nick recap UNI’s 69-64 win over Indiana State Wednesday night that featured a career-high 21 points from Spencer Haldeman. They also discuss the Panthers’ improved defense, Luke McDonnell and Justin Dahl’s contributions in the front court, the amount of long 2-point jump shots, and look ahead to Saturday’s tilt against Valparaiso.

In the second and final segment, Cole offers a few quick thoughts on former UNI player and coach Ryan Mahaffey being hired as offensive coordinator.
