Western Dubuque claims Class 2A boys' state bowling title

WATERLOO — Western Dubuque rolled a 3160 to win the Class 2A boys’ state bowling title Thursday at Cadillac Lanes.

Ottumwa was second at 3135.

The Bobcats’ Drew Nadermann tied for third individually, rolling a two-game score of 512. Teammate Nick Stecklein was sixth at 496.

Western Dubuque’s Morgan Theisen was eighth in the girls’ race with a 401, and Cedar Rapids Xavier finished eighth in the team event.
