No. 3 Waukon and No. 2 Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley meet in a Class 2A semifinal game for the second straight season Saturday night at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls.

Playoff path: Waukon rolled past Union Community in the first round, 40-11, and brushed past sixth-ranked Algona in the quarterfinals, 24-21. BHRV beat No. 8 Spirit Lake in the first round, 35-7, and No. 5 Southeast Valley in the quarterfinals, 48-6.
Overview: These teams are your last two Class 2A champs. Waukon won it all last season, BHRV in 2016.
Waukon dropped its opener to Class 3A playoff qualifier Decorah, 24-20, but has reeled off 10 straight wins since then.
An injury forced the Indians to bring in Creed Welch to start at quarterback early in the season but the sophomore has responded with 2,193 yards passing and 27 touchdowns.
Michael Sweeney has a team-leading 67 receptions, including 11 TDs.

Dawson Baures has rushed for 1,255 yards and has another 933 yards in receptions. He has 30 total touchdowns.
BHRV’s lone loss came in Week 4 for Class 3A semifinalist Sergeant Bluff-Luton, 35-21. It averages just over 42 points per game behind a diverse offense.
Quarterback J.T. Van’t Hul has thrown for 1,889 yards. Cody Post and Spencer Te Slaa have eight touchdown catches apiece, though Beau De Jongh leads the team in receptions.
Van’t Hul also leads BHRV in rushing (826 yards and 14 TDs).
Brayton Van Kekerix leads 2A with 19 tackles for loss.
