Solon 55, Marion 43

Sure, there have been some extenuating circumstances. But nonetheless, the Solon Spartans have completed quite the pre-Christmas combo.

Hilary Wilson scored all 10 of her points in a telling third quarter, and Solon dusted Marion, 55-43, in a Wamac Conference girls’ basketball game Tuesday night at Solon High School.

“It’s so exciting,” Wilson said. “We were so bummed we got canceled (Monday, against West Branch). We’ve been talking about this game forever.”
