IOWA CITY — The University of Iowa women’s basketball schedule is complete.

The Big Ten released its conference schedule Tuesday. The Hawkeyes (24-8 last season) open the 18-game league slate Dec. 30, at Michigan State.

Iowa enters the season as one of the favorites, along with Maryland, to capture the conference championship. Four starters return, led by all-American Megan Gustafson, who led the nation in scoring and field-goal percentage last year.

The Hawkeyes’ non-conference schedule was released Aug. 9. The season begins Nov. 6, with an exhibition game with Dakota Wesleyan, then a home date with Oral Roberts on Nov. 9 gets the Hawkeyes started for real.
