No. 20 Iowa rallied from a 15-point deficit with 4:30 left to beat Northwestern 80-79 on Jordan Bohannon's 3-pointer with 0.6 seconds remaining.
The Hawkeyes improved to 19-5 overall and 8-5 in the Big Ten. The Wildcats are now 12-11, 3-9.

Turning point: Iowa trailed by 15 points with 4:30 left, but somehow rallied for the victory with a 23-7 game-ending run. The Hawkeyes gave the Wildcats fits with a half-court trap defense and got big shot after big shot down the stretch. Joe Wieskamp made it 76-68 with a 3-pointer with 2:08 left, Bohannon cut it to 76-71 with another 3 with 1:24 to go and Wieskamp, Bohannon and Isaiah Moss all made layups to extend the game. Vic Law made 1 of 2 free throws and Iowa got the ball out of bounds on the sideline after a kick with 3.0 seconds left to set up Bohannon's heroics. Northwestern's Derek Pardon then missed a 3 at the buzzer.
MVP: Bohannon missed four of his first five shots and was scoreless until the 5:28 mark of the second half. He finished with a flurry, hitting his last four shots and finishing with 15 points, including the game winner.
Key stat: 10. That's how many second-half turnovers the Hawkeyes forced, many in the final minutes to set up the comeback. On a day when Iowa stagnated through multiple stretches, it finally came to life in the last 4 1/2 minutes.
