No. 20 Iowa picked up its first win in Big Ten play Sunday at Carver-Hawkeye Arena against No. 23 Nebraska, 93-84.

Coverage from Carver
MVP: Plenty of Hawkeyes deserve props in this one, with five scoring in double figures, but Jordan Bohannon gets the nod here. He scored a season-high 25 points, making 5-of-8 3-pointers, and added five assists. He was a perfect 10-for-10 at the free-throw line, helping Iowa seal the win down the stretch. Twenty-two of his points came in the second half. Honorable mention to Ryan Kriener, who had 14 points in his first career start, and Isaiah Moss for his all-around efforts (12 points, 10 rebounds, five assists).
Turning point: When Tyler Cook picked up his third foul and took a seat with 17:36 left, Nebraska seemed poised to take over. Instead, Iowa went on a 10-2 run to go up 56-47. Moss drilled a 3-pointer, Kriener converted a three-point play and Bohannon added a 3 during the run. Bohannon also buried a 3 to make it a seven-point game after the Huskers got within 72-68, and another to put Iowa up 83-75.
Key stat: 4-23. Nebraska was woeful from 3-point territory, making just 17.4 percent of its attempts. Bohannon made more treys by himself. Iowa as a team was 10-for-22 from distance.
