IOWA AT NO. 12 PENN STATE

Marc Morehouse (2-1, 18-6) — Do I really need four Cubs World Series hoodies? As soon as Wisconsin Wife finds out I bought four, I really might need them. #FlytheW #Marcisout. Penn State 27, Iowa 17

Mike Hlas (2-1, 16-8) — A robust, rock-em, sock-em game is possible. My motel room in Altoona, Pa., having paper-thin walls and a broken TV remote control is a sure thing. Penn State 24, Iowa 21

Jeremiah Davis (3-0, 18-6) — Kirk Ferentz took a shot at those who knocked Iowa’s schedule as easy before the season. Three ranked teams out of four to finish suggests he’s right. Penn State 24, Iowa 16

Beth Malicki (3-0, 20-4) — I’m preparing for this upcoming election the way top athletes gear up for game day: protein bars, adult diapers and a fully charged back-up phone battery. Penn State 20, Iowa 17

Zach Hanley (3-0, 19-5) — It’s called Happy Valley, but the only one happy after the game will be the Nittany Lions. Penn State 28, Iowa 24

Todd Brommelkamp (3-0, 17-7) — Raise your hand if you’ve ever had your own drink poured over your head at the State College Ramada Inn. At least it wasn’t after last call. Penn State 31, Iowa 21

NO. 10 NEBRASKA AT NO. 6 OHIO STATE

Morehouse — This could be the week where I spell everything wrong and I just kind of laugh and smile, hey, and we’ll get them tomorrow. #FlytheW. Ohio State 37, Nebraska 35

Hlas — This could be a preview of the Big Ten championship game. But it won’t be, and I’m sorry I even brought it up. Ohio State 35, Nebraska 24

Davis — This game could be one of those “I remember when” games. Tommy Armstrong vs J.T. Barrett has just about everything you could ask for. Ohio State 31, Nebraska 27

Malicki — Because election days are the rare occasions TV newsrooms go off script and just talk about the results. It’s scary, fun and hopefully ends with a winner and no bloodshed. Ohio State 31, Nebraska 20

Hanley — When Ohio State plays Nebraska they win 75 percent of the time. So like in Dumb and Dumber, the Huskers have a chance. Ohio State 28, Nebraska 17

Brommelkamp — The Buckeyes are favored by 17. Nebraska’s football team hasn’t been this big of an underdog since taking the SATs. Ohio State 31, Nebraska 17

AIR FORCE AT ARMY

Morehouse — Can’t they both win? Look that up in the rule book. I think it’s possible. Everyone wins this week. Don’t worry, be happy! #FlytheW. Air Force 17, Army 14

Hlas — These two teams do more before 9 a.m. than I do all day. So do the Navy, the Marines, the Coast Guard, the National Guard, butchers, bakers, candlestick-makers, house cats and scarecrows. Army 31, Air Force 30

Davis — Games between service academies always have an extra special level of intensity and pageantry. If only it had the same level of national significance. Army 22, Air Force 17

Malicki — So go forth, vote with gusto, wear your sticker proudly and brag to social media about what a great citizen you are. Army 24, Air Force 21

Hanley — My Grandpa was a Navy man and his birthday was Wednesday. There’s no way I could pick Army this week. Air Force 35, Army 31

Brommelkamp — A football game with members of the armed forces involved that doesn’t involve the NFL bilking taxpayers out of thousands of dollars? What a novel idea. Army 26, Navy 24
