Wildlife photographer Steve Winter presents Big Cats

Be inspired at National Geographic Live! Bringing exploration to life, National Geographic Live! gives you an in-person account of what actually happens on an expedition. Some of the nation's top explorers and photographers will be live - telling stories, showing photos and video. Ask your questions at the end of the show in the auditorium or ask them directly when they come out after the show. It's quality entertainment, brought to you from National Geographic.

On July 12th, wildlife photographer Steve Winter will be joining us at The Paramount Theatre to talk about all things "Big Cats". From Asian jungles where resilient tiger populations persist, to the Himilayas, home of the rare snow leopard. Follow him into the rainforest of Latin America to view the elusive jaguar - and to Hollywood in pursuit of the North American cougar. Winter will share both dangerous and lighter moments: from getting stuck in quicksand to mishaps with remote-controlled cameras. Co-author of a National Geographic book Tigers Forever, Winter's mission is to share the beauty of big cats while working to save them.

Show tickets range from $30.00 - $40.00, with student tickets only $20 with valid school ID. Additional fees may apply. Tickets are available online at, at the Paramount Theatre Box Office, or by phone at 319-366-8203.
