Letters to the Editor

Testimony value in eye of beholder

President Donald Trump described Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Sept. 27 as “powerful, honest and riveting.” I saw the same testimony as being, in turn, angry, self-pitying, evasive, boastful, rude, frivolous and repetitive.

Most people who may read this don’t know me and so have no way of judging my ability to critique. However, I would suggest Trump has given many clues as to his grip on reality.

I strongly oppose Judge Kavanaugh as a candidate for the Supreme Court.
