Senators made excuses for Trump

The Republican Party is now the Rationalization party. To avoid voting guilty, our two senators used the excuse that Donald Trump was no longer in office. Would they have used this logic if members of Congress had been killed by Trump’s mob? Evidently, the destruction of our capitol and the lives lost Jan. 6 were not enough.
