Letters to the Editor

Reader thinks editorial headline was wrong

I saw Aug. 16 that The Gazette’s Editorial Board joined with more than 300 other editorial teams nationwide who banned together to further castigate President Donald Trump. The Gazette’s contribution was titled, “Trump sows cynicism and distrust in criticizing journalists.”

A major error there, I believe. That headline should have read, “Journalists sow cynicism and distrust in criticizing Trump.”
