I support Nate Boulton for governor.
I have known him for several years because we both practice workers’ compensation law. During that time, I’ve been impressed with his energy, dedication and effectiveness in standing up for workers. He is articulate and smart. He has the stamina to make a difference in people’s lives.
Over the course of the last year, I have watched his energy expand. He became a powerful voice in the Iowa Senate. He not only has a long-term vision for this state, but he also has the energy and focus to see that vision to fruition.
Unlike Kim Reynolds, he sees the shortsightedness of giving huge tax credits to companies like Apple — who will bring few jobs to the state — while underfunding our public education system. Iowa’s greatest resource is its residents. Boulton respects this. The Reynolds/Branstad policy of investing in out-of-state corporations at the expense of its own residents has transformed our state surplus into a growing deficit. This state cannot remain strong with an administration who undervalues its workers and who invests irresponsibly in outside interests.
Stand up for Iowans! Join me in supporting Boulton for governor.
