I don't want a computer

I am a woman nearly 90 years old. I went to school when reading, writing and arithmetic was taught. Now everything since has to do with a computer. I do not have or want one, but when I try to order anything or get help with something by telephone the first thing I am told is “Call WWW…” even though I have told them I do not have a computer or internet.

Also, this younger generation do not know how to communicate person-to-person. I have seen these young people sit side-by-side and text each other.

I also think school needs to get back to the basics.

This younger generation do not know how to do anything without a computer or smart phone.

If there is anyone else out there that feels this way, please speak up.
