Ernst can't be trusted on climate

In the 1980s, Exxon confirmed through it’s own scientists, that climate change was occurring. They began building their drilling rigs higher to compensate for the rise in sea level they knew was coming. NASA reached the same conclusion and told Congress in 1988 about global warming and the seriousness of this problem. Then, the fossil-fuel industry, instead of putting a modest price increase on carbon, began a disinformation distribution of deceit and denial that locked the US in a pointless debate regarding global weather for the next thirty years. Chuck Todd, of “Meet The Press,” recently devoted an entire show to climate change, “The science is settled, even if political opinion is not,” he stated.

The Competitive Enterprise Institute, partly funded by the Koch brothers, immediately took out a full-page ad in the Wall Street Journal to dispute this theory and used the word, “alarmists.”

Our U. S. Sen. Joni Ernst, is a Koch family darling. They helped create her. The Koch family gave her hundreds of thousands of dollars to defeat her Democrat rivals, who saw the importance of sun and wind power.

Can Ernst give a fair and balanced representation of our state when she owes her soul to the Koch country store?

Vote Ernst out now, she’s a clear and present danger to our earth.
