Entertains insult at their own risk

I hate to witness what I fear may be the decline of football as America’s favorite sport. But I suppose it’s inevitable given the disgraceful slant in the New York Daily News article reprinted among The Gazette’s June 10 sports pages.

Even the Oscar providers throttled insulting political “free speech” at this year’s awards ceremony after noting attendance at the movies had dropped 25 percent.

Entertainers insult their paid audiences at their own risk.
