Blum projects his faults on others

On Oct. 13, the Iowa House Ethics Committee voted unanimously to dismiss ethics complaints against Abby Finkenauer. The committee called those allegations — promulgated by one of Rod Blum’s campaign donors — baseless and without merit.

Meanwhile, Blum is under investigation by the The Committee on Ethics for the U.S. House of Representatives — an independent, nonpartisan entity — for failing to disclose information about a business he owns. The committee won’t reveal its course of action until after the Nov. 6 election.

It’s a mark of desperation and cowardice for Blum to project his own faults onto another candidate the way he has done over the past few weeks.
